The conference will offer keynote lectures, other oral presentations, poster sessions, and various clinical workshops. We will provide a multidisciplinary perspective on the predictors and consequences of abuse and neglect across the life span, with a specific focus on the impact of emotional abuse and neglect. Experts will present their state-of-the-art findings on the following themes: short- and longterm behavioral, emotional, and neurobiological predictors and consequences of abuse and neglect, intergenerational transmission of maltreatment, vulnerability and resilience, and interventions.
